AU is a student-centered university that enables students to achieve their academic goals and to lead full and rich lives. AU implements experiential models such as Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate (CDIO) — proven modern learning methods that help students make good decisions, adapt, innovate, and develop workplace skills. Internships with local employers, and internationally, give students first-hand experience in their chosen careers.
